Our goal is to create a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Our office gathers information, develops, and recommends improvements and new techniques into existing safety programs. We ensure safety compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Our office is responsible for gathering information on vehicle and personnel accidents as well as complaints. We also perform building and equipment safety inspections to insure a safe work place. Our main activity is the initial and follow up with in line of duty injuries and illnesses by our current employees as well as our retirees. We are responsible for producing a quarterly safety news letter on line, to assist in reaching our employees and keep them aware of all changes in the safety program.
