Stacy Smotherman, who serves as the Administrative Specialist to the Director-Chief, is a 20-year veteran of the Nashville Fire Department.

Mrs. Smotherman was named a member of Director-Chief Stephen Halford’s Senior Staff in 2001. Reporting directly to the Director-Chief, she is responsible for coordinating and participating in a variety of management services essential to the operation of the department.

Also, Mrs. Smotherman proudly represents the Nashville Fire Department as a member of the Metropolitan Executive Secretaries Association in which she served as MESA’s President for 2005-2006 and was twice awarded MESA’s Member of the Year honor in 2004 and 2006.
