| Vision Statement |
When in a public gathering place and coming upon a victim of
potential sudden cardiac arrest, witnessing citizens of the Nashville
community will automatically, in addition to activating the 911 system,
begin chest compressions, seek out the location of an automatic external
defibrillator and use it without hesitation or fear. |
| Mission Statement |
The mission of the Metro Nashville and Davidson County PAD program
is to increase the survival rate from sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) in our
community by creating community or organization awareness of SCA,
provide assess to state of the art automatic external defibrillator
equipment and training at the best cost available and institutionalize
within our community the knowledge and confidence that anyone has the
ability to save the life of an SCA victim. |
